OUR FEES AND PRICING

MIXED BILLING

We are a Mixed Billing Practice and our opening hours are: 9:00 am – 6:00 pm.

Adult Private Patients (without a concession card) are required to pay the full private fee on the day of the consultation. 

Standard Consultation: $80 Medicare rebate $43.90

Long Consultation: $130 Medicare rebate $84.90

Bulk billing is available for Pensioner Concession Card holders, Health Care Card holders, and children under 16 years of age.​​

​Currently patients 16 years and over wanting to join Alpine Medical Centre are subject to pre-approval from the doctors prior to the first appointment. Approved new patients will incur a initial consult of $120 payable at the time of booking their first appointment. This payment covers the administration time, medical record preparations, first nurses appointment which will include an initial pre-medical. Medicare rebates  not applicable for this charge.

Patients Under 16 years over wanting to join Alpine Medical Centre are subject to pre-approval from the doctors prior to the first appointment. Approved new patients will incur a initial consult of $60 payable at the time of booking their first appointment. This payment covers the administration time, medical record preparations, first nurses appointment which will include an initial pre-medical. Medicare rebates not applicable for this charge.

*Dr. Roomi Kanwal only takes new cosmetic patients under RK Aesthetics, Not for general medical related consultations. Large Cosmetic Procedures have payment plans available however, these are subject to each individual procedure and doctors discretion.

* As of 01/04/2025, patients who do not attend their booked appointments without giving 2 hours notice, will be charge a 'Did Not Attend' Fee of $40. (this fee is not rebated from Services Australia (Medicare).

This will be at the doctors discretion.

* Patients with Walk In status will be subject to Triaging and Urgency of Consultation. Please do not get offended if asked to wait long periods of times, or requested to book an appointment on another day.

PRIVATE HEALTH

Patients that do not have a current Medicare Card but, have private health insurance will be charged a fee for the consultation which is payable on the day. Prices vary depending on the length and type of consultation. A receipt will be provided once paid.

Private health insurance rebates for selected funds can now be processed directly at our centre. Please enquire at reception for details.
